VMK25: When will my order arrive?
Waiting sucks. That's a fact. Especially when you know that somewhere out there is a cardboard box with your headphones inside – and you have absolutely no clue where that box is right now. Let's go through how Valco deliveries work and where to find your tracking info.
Delivery times in a nutshell
Valco delivery times depend on where in the world you live:
- Finland: 1–4 business days. The Finnish postal service handles it, and surprisingly often does a decent job.
- EU countries (France, Germany, etc.): 5–14 business days. Depends a bit on the country and whether the local postal system is on strike or not.
- Rest of the world: 7–21 business days. Sometimes faster, sometimes slower. Customs might want to get acquainted with your package at their own pace.
These are estimates, not promises. Logistics is the kind of industry where nothing always goes according to plan – and that's not always our fault, even though sometimes it is.
Where can I see where my package is?
When your order leaves our warehouse, you'll get a tracking code by email. Use it to see where your package is:
- Check your email – including the spam folder. The tracking code comes as a separate message after your order confirmation.
- Log into your account at valco.fi – you'll find your order details and tracking link there.
- The tracking link takes you to the carrier's page, where you can see your package's progress in real time. Or at least as much detail as the carrier is willing to share.
If the tracking code shows nothing or the status hasn't updated in a couple of days, don't panic just yet. Especially with international deliveries, tracking can "disappear" for a bit when the package crosses borders. It'll pop back up.
Order placed but no tracking code in sight
A couple of reasons why the code might be delayed:
- The product is on pre-order – if the item isn't in stock, it won't ship until the next batch arrives. This is stated on the product page, but it's easy to miss when you're caught up in the excitement.
- You ordered during peak season – Black Friday, Christmas, and similar rush periods slow everything down. We pack as fast as a 14-person crew possibly can.
- Something went wrong – rare, but it happens. In that case, we want to know about it.
International orders and customs
Within the EU, there shouldn't be any customs fees. When ordering outside the EU, local customs may charge their own fees, and there's nothing Valco can do about that. It's also worth knowing that in some countries, the local postal service holds your package hostage until the duties are paid. Not our fault, but we totally understand the frustration.
If nothing helps
If the delivery time has clearly exceeded the estimate, the tracking code has vanished into a black hole, or the package just isn't showing up:
- Send a message to info@valco.fi – include your order number and we'll dig into it.
- We usually reply on business days. On weekends we rest like normal humans (or at least we try to).
We want your money, but we also want you to get those headphones. Mutually beneficial, really. And every delivered package gets us one step closer to that Death Star.
