You ordered headphones, and now you're having second thoughts. Or maybe you spotted a deal at the neighbour's local shop and your impatient brain is screaming "cancel, cancel". Maybe life happened, maybe your bank account cried for help. We don't care about the reason – you have the right to cancel, and we'll sort it out.
Note though, how easy the cancellation is depends on one thing: can we still catch the package, or is it already on its way?
Order is still being processed
If you just placed your order and haven't received a shipping notification, here's what to do:
- Send an email to info@valco.fi
- Include your order number (you'll find it in your order confirmation email)
- Mention that you want to cancel
- We'll stop the shipment and refund your money
Speed is key. Our warehouse processes orders on weekdays, so if you ordered on Friday night after three beers, there's still a good chance on Monday morning to grab the package before it heads out.
Order has already been shipped
If you've received a shipping notification or tracking number, the package is already in the hands of the postal service (or another courier). At this point, we unfortunately can't stop it mid-journey – not even Valco has that kind of power over the postal service.
So here's how it works:
- Receive the package when it arrives
- Send us a message at info@valco.fi with your order number
- We'll give you return instructions
- Send the products back in their original packaging (or equivalent, as long as they stay intact during transit)
- Your money will be refunded once we've received the return
Returns are free within 14 days. This is your statutory distance selling right, and you don't need to justify your decision. Even if you wanted to justify it – you still don't need to.
Refunds
Money is refunded via the same payment method you used:
- Card payment – refund to your card, usually 3–5 business days
- PayPal – refund to your PayPal account
- Instalment plan – get in touch and we'll sort out the situation with the finance company
You don't need to provide your bank account number separately unless our customer service asks for it. It all goes through the original payment method.
If nothing's working
If your order number is lost, you haven't gotten an email reply within a day, or something else has gone sideways, send another message to info@valco.fi. We're not sitting on our hands – we will get back to you.
And if you cancelled because you found a cheaper alternative: we get it. But remember, cheaper doesn't always mean better. We repair our headphones instead of tossing them in the bin after 18 months. That's worth factoring into the price. But hey – your money, your call. We'll be here when you come back.
