Waiting is a pain in the ass. We know it. Especially when it’s something you really want and not, say, a tax decision or a summons to the dentist.
Let’s go through how Valco deliveries work and where to find your package.
Normal delivery time
When you order a product that’s in stock, the delivery time to Finland is 2–5 business days. It depends a bit on how much Posti or another carrier feels like working that day. Unfortunately, we don’t control Posti’s motivation level.
In practice, it goes like this:
- Order confirmation arrives in your email immediately after placing the order
- Shipping confirmation arrives when the package leaves us – this includes a tracking link
- From the tracking link you can see where your package is at any given time
If you ordered a product that is on pre-order or temporarily out of stock, the delivery time is longer. We’ll provide an estimate in the order confirmation. Sometimes the factory in China surprises us – for better or worse. Usually worse.
Where is my package?
The first place to check:
- Open your email and look for a message titled "Your order is on the way" or similar
- Click the tracking link – it shows the package’s exact location
- Also check your spam folder – sometimes email apps are overprotective
If the shipping confirmation hasn’t arrived, the order is likely still being processed. In‑stock products usually leave us within 1–2 business days.
Pre-orders and delays
If you ordered a product in advance, the delivery time depends on when the batch arrives to us. We are a small 14‑person company, not Amazon. We don’t have a warehouse the size of a small town, just one warehouse and a lot of hope.
For pre‑orders, we keep customers up to date by email. If the estimate changes, we’ll tell you straight – we don’t hide bad news behind marketing speak. “The factory was delayed by a month” means exactly that.
If you’ve waited an unreasonably long time and haven’t received any information, that’s our mistake. Contact us and we’ll figure it out.
If that doesn’t help
If you can’t find the tracking link, the order confirmation has disappeared, or the package seems to have gotten stuck in limbo somewhere in Posti’s terminal:
- Send us a message at info@valco.fi
- Tell us your order number (found in the order confirmation, in the form #12345 or similar)
- We’ll dig the details out of the logistics system and tell you the exact status
If the situation is that you no longer feel like waiting and want your money back – that’s possible too. We’d rather send those headphones though, because they’re worth the wait. But no one is forced to become friends with us.
And if you ordered a gift for an anniversary or for Christmas: tell us in good time, and we’ll do our best. We don’t promise miracles, but we try harder than Posti.
