Short answer: yes. The VMK25 supports multipoint connection, so you can keep two devices connected at the same time. Phone in your pocket, laptop on the desk, headphones on your head, all chatting with each other like old friends.
How does multipoint actually work?
Multipoint means the VMK25 remembers and keeps two Bluetooth connections active at once. The typical use case is exactly what people ask about: the laptop handles Teams meetings while the phone handles calls and music.
The sound comes from whichever device is sending it at the time. If you're listening to music from your phone and a Teams call starts on your laptop, the headphones switch audio source automatically. When the call ends, the music picks back up. No unplugging or reconnecting needed.
What about Teams meetings, does it work?
Yes. The VMK25 connects to your computer over Bluetooth completely normally, and Teams recognizes the headphones as both an audio output and a microphone. The mic uses CVC8 noise reduction, so your coworkers hear you, not a backyard dog concert.
A few practical tips for Teams:
- Check your Teams audio settings: Select the VMK25 as both speaker and microphone. Teams doesn't always guess right on its own.
- Bluetooth connection to your laptop: Make sure your computer's Bluetooth is on and the headphones show up as paired. If your laptop's Bluetooth is ancient, audio quality might drop. In that case aptX HD might not kick in, but it's still plenty good for voice calls.
- Turn on ANC for the meeting: Press the ANC button on the left ear cup. Open-office chaos disappears and focus improves. ANC won't remove your coworker laughing next to you, but it will kill the AC hum and office background noise.
How many devices can it remember?
The VMK25 remembers pairing with several devices, but only two can be active at the same time. If you want to swap one device for another, turn off Bluetooth on the previous device or disconnect it from the headphones' settings.
In practice this means you can pair the headphones with your work computer, home computer, phone, and tablet, but only two of them are connected at once.
If the connection is being difficult
Bluetooth is a great invention when it works. If pairing is acting up:
- Turn the headphones off and back on
- Turn your computer's Bluetooth off and back on
- Remove the VMK25 from your computer's Bluetooth device list and re-pair
- Try plugging in and unplugging the 3.5mm AUX cable, this resets the Bluetooth chip

Wired use and gaming
If lag bothers you while gaming, the 3.5mm AUX cable is the straightforward fix: with a wired connection there's zero latency. Good to know the model differences:
- VMK25.2: with the cable plugged in, Bluetooth turns off, but the volume buttons and ANC still work.
- VMK25: the cable turns off Bluetooth and the buttons too, sound and ANC still work, adjustments are made on the device itself.
- The microphone doesn't run through the 3.5mm cable without an accessory: the wired Mic Attachment (sold separately) turns the headphones into a wired headset with a microphone.
