When will my VMK20 headphones be delivered?
Waiting sucks. We know it. You’ve made the purchase decision, the money has left your account, and now you’re staring at an empty mailbox like a dog under the Christmas table. Let’s go through how Valco deliveries work and where your headphones are most likely lurking.
How do deliveries work?
Valco’s normal delivery time to Finland is 2–5 business days from ordering. In practice, it goes like this:
- Order is processed usually within 1–2 business days
- Tracking number will be emailed to you when the package leaves the warehouse
- Posti or another courier handles the rest of the journey, and at this point we don’t control the situation any more than you do
For international orders, the timeline naturally stretches. Within Europe it typically takes 5–10 business days, farther away even more.
Why is my order delayed?
There are a few reasons, and in the spirit of honesty, let’s go through them:
- Peak times: Around Christmas, after Black Friday, and during promotions there are more orders than usual. A 14-person company isn’t Amazon, even though we do our best.
- Stock status: If VMK20 is temporarily out of stock, delivery time may stretch. The online store usually shows availability — go ahead and check it.
- Posti: Sometimes Posti does Posti things. A package may sit in a terminal for a day or two for no good reason. From the tracking link you can see where the package is moving — or not moving.
- Weekends and holidays: We don’t ship packages on weekends. An order placed on Friday evening will leave on Monday at the earliest.
How to check the status
- Dig up the order confirmation from your email. It arrived right after you placed the order. Check your spam if you can’t find it.
- Find the shipping confirmation. If you received one, it contains a tracking link. Click it.
- Tracking link not showing anything sensible? Give it a day. Sometimes the tracking number activates with a delay.
- No shipping confirmation and it’s been more than 3 business days since the order? Then it’s a good idea to contact us.
If things aren’t moving forward
If it’s been over a week since the order confirmation and you haven’t heard anything, send us a message at info@valco.fi. Include your order number — you’ll find it in the order confirmation and it usually starts with a string of numbers. We’ll dig up the details and tell you exactly where your headphones are.
