Sometimes headphones start acting up – cutting out, failing to connect, or just being generally moody. A reset helps. Resetting means the headphones' brain is wiped clean and they forget all their old grudges.
There are two types of reset:
• Bluetooth reset – clears only the Bluetooth connection.
• Factory reset – restores the whole device to factory settings.
Bluetooth reset (quick fix)
• Charge the battery to full.
• Remove the pairing between the headphones and your device (forget/remove the VMK from your device's Bluetooth settings).
• Take a 3.5 mm AUX cable and plug one end into the headphones. The other end doesn't need to be plugged in anywhere.
• Leave the cable plugged in for 3–5 seconds, then unplug it.
• Turn on the headphones and pair them via Bluetooth again.
Factory reset (full reset)
This makes the headphones forget all pairings and return to factory settings.
• Remove the pairing between the headphones and your device (forget/remove the VMK from Bluetooth settings).
• Turn on the headphones.
• Press and hold the "+" and "–" buttons simultaneously.
• Continue until you hear two beeps and see a purple light flash.
• Release the buttons and reconnect the headphones via Bluetooth.
