What is multipoint?
Multipoint means your headphones are connected to two devices at the same time. For example, you can listen to music from your computer and answer a phone call without having to switch the connection manually.
The VMK15 supports this feature right out of the box — no separate setting needs to be activated.
Multipoint pairing steps
1. Pair the VMK15 with the first device normally (see the setup article).
2. Once the first connection is established, put the headphones into pairing mode again: turn them off, power them on, and hold the MFB button until the LED flashes blue and red.
3. Find “Valco VMK15” in the Bluetooth settings of the second device and connect.
4. The headphones are now connected to both devices.
How does multipoint work in practice?
When you are playing music from your computer and your phone rings, the headphones automatically pause the music and switch to the call. When the call ends, the music resumes.
Audio comes from only one device at a time. Multipoint does not mix two audio sources together.
If both devices try to play audio at the same time, the headphones prioritise the most recently started audio.
Things to keep in mind
A multipoint connection can occasionally cause a short delay when audio switches from one device to another. This is normal.
If multipoint causes issues, you can use the headphones with one device at a time by turning off Bluetooth on the other device.
