I can’t turn the speaker on
It probably has no power. Charge the battery with a USB-C cable. The red light turns on when charging begins. If it doesn’t, try a different cable or charger.
I can’t connect via Bluetooth
1. Make sure Bluetooth is on on your phone.
2. Make sure the phone and speaker are close enough (under 10m indoors).
3. Hold down the M button until the pairing resets, then try pairing again.
4. If nothing helps, reset the speaker by holding the play button for a long time and start over.

What is 3D Surround?
The unicorn button (button 3) activates a DSP-based soundstage widening effect. It’s not true multichannel surround, but it makes the sound more open. The difference is smaller than you’d expect, but noticeable. In stereo mode (two speakers) 3D Surround is automatically off.
Is the speaker waterproof?
The Nordell MK3 is IPX7-rated, meaning it handles rain, splashes and brief submersion. On a dock or at floor level in a sauna it works great. Don’t take it deep-sea diving or to the top bench in the sauna, though.
Does the speaker support a memory card?
Yes. The microSD card slot (under the protective flap, port 8) supports cards up to 64GB. MP3 plays for sure; we make no promises about other formats. Switch the audio source by pressing the M button.
Can I make phone calls with the speaker?
Yes. The speaker has a built-in microphone. When a call comes in, press the play button to answer. The same button ends the call. A long press rejects the call.
How do I get warranty service for the speaker?
Send a message to info@valco.fi and describe the problem. We'll do our best to help. The warranty runs for 24 months, and there is no fine print about how often you have to play music through it.
