Is Nordell Mk3 available?
Nordell MK3 is one of our most popular products, and sometimes it sells out faster than we’d hope. We know few things are more frustrating than finding the perfect product only to see the stock level at zero. Especially if you’ve just decided to treat yourself for your birthday – or trade your wool socks for a speaker.
How do I know if the MK3 is in stock?
The easiest way is to check directly at https://valco.fi the online store. If the product page says “Add to cart” and not “Out of stock”, the speaker is in stock and will ship the next business day. It’s that simple.
If the product shows as sold out, it just means the previous batch flew off the shelves. We order the MK3 from the factory in batches, and sometimes the demand surprises even us.
Why is the MK3 sometimes sold out?
We’re a 14-person company from Finland, not a global logistics giant. The factory in China makes the speakers, a ship brings them to Finland, and sea freight takes 4–6 weeks. Sometimes a batch sells out before the next one arrives. We don’t keep massive inventories because the money goes to building a Death Star and to alimony payments.
In practice, this means a sold-out MK3 usually returns to sale within a few weeks. We don’t promise an exact date, because we’ve learned the hard way that you shouldn’t trust sea freight schedules any more than a weather forecast.
How to make sure you don’t miss out
- Check the online store regularly. Stock status updates in real time.
- Subscribe to a stock notification. If the product page lets you leave your email address, use it. You’ll get a message as soon as a batch arrives.
- Send us an email. Write to info@valco.fi and ask for an estimate of the next batch. We usually reply the same day and will tell you honestly whether the wait is a matter of days or weeks.
What if I need the MK3 right now?
If the speaker is sold out and you can’t wait, we have other good options. But honestly – MK3 is MK3. IPX7 water resistance, 20W stereo pairing capability, and sound quality that Jasse has tuned for so long that the coffee maker has worn out. If you can wait, wait.
If you can’t wait and want to trade wool socks for a speaker, go ahead and send the socks to info@valco.fi – let’s see what we can do. (Don’t actually send socks. Or do. Jasse’s feet freeze in the winter.)
