How do I cancel a Nordell Mk3 order?
Life situations change. Your wife said the speaker is ugly. The budget got tight. Or you accidentally ordered two because the webstore was too easy to use. We don't care about the reason – you have the right to cancel, and we make it easy.
No need to explain. We want your money, but only if you want our speaker.
The order hasn't been shipped yet
If the order is still in the "preparing for shipment" stage, the fastest way is:
- Find your order confirmation email — it was sent to the address you used to order
- Reply to it directly and write in the message "I want to cancel the order" along with your order number
- We'll stop the shipment and refund the money
Alternatively, send a message to info@valco.fi. Mention your order number so we don't have to guess who you are.
We aim to process cancellations the same day. We're a 14-person company – no need to crank the wheels of bureaucracy here.
The order is already on its way or has arrived
If the package has already been sent or is standing in your hallway, it's a return. That works too:
- Notify us of the return by replying to the order confirmation or by sending an email to info@valco.fi.
- Pack the speaker back into the original packaging (or some other reasonable packaging – it doesn't have to be museum-grade)
- Send the package to us — we'll provide the return address and instructions by email
- When the package arrives, we'll refund the money to the same payment method you used
You have 14 days from receiving the order to notify us of a return. This is the statutory right of withdrawal for distance selling, not something we made up.
Return shipping costs are generally paid by the customer. Fair? Perhaps not perfectly, but a small company has to draw the line somewhere – otherwise the Death Star budget suffers.
Refunds – how fast?
When we cancel the order or receive the return, the money usually comes back in 3–7 business days. It depends on your bank. We don't hold it back on purpose – even if a Ferrari fund is tempting.
Don't send your account number in advance by email unless you want to. The refund automatically goes the same route the payment came. If you paid by card, the money goes back to the card. If you paid by invoice, we'll agree separately.
If something's not right
If the cancellation doesn't seem to be progressing or you don't get a reply within 24 hours, send a new message to info@valco.fi. Sometimes emails disappear into the void – it's not our intention to ignore anyone.
And if you're canceling because something's wrong with the speaker, do let us know. We'd rather fix the problem than lose a customer. Nordell Mk3 is definitely worth giving a second chance – but you don't have to. It's a free country.
