Headband snapped, hinge clicked funny, or the ear pads look like a dog used them as chew toys? Don't panic. At Valco, we don't throw headphones in the trash over one broken part. That's the whole point.
We don't sell spare parts, but we do repair devices, because the world already has enough electronic waste. And because we want your money again.
What spare parts are available?
- Replacement ear pads for the ear cupsthe most common spare part, they naturally wear out with use, order new ones from our online store (if the warranty has expired)
- Other partsour service replaces during repair (flat 69 €)
Can you fix it yourself?
Depends a bit on the part and how brave you're feeling.
- Ear padsare easy to swap at home. They twist off and the new ones click right into place. No engineering degree required, not even a screwdriver.
- Headband replacementcan be done at our service center in Kajaani.
- More complex repairs(electronics, drivers, Bluetooth modules) are best left to our service team in Kajaani. Hannes and the rest of the crew know what they're doing, you don't have to.
Rule of thumb: if the fix needs a soldering iron, let us handle it. If your fingers and common sense are enough, you'll probably manage fine on your own.
If the part isn't available or you can't fix it yourself
Send the device to our service center in Kajaani. For repairs outside warranty, there's a repair packageat a flat rate of 69 euros. The price doesn't depend on the fault, so no surprises.
We never send a device back unrepaired without telling you first. And nobody has to sell a kidney to cover the repair bill.
