Headphone ear pads are a bit like socks: they wear out with use, especially if you've listened to all of Valco's podcasts, family gatherings, and dog barking remixes with them. But don't worry, replacing them is easier than changing the clock settings on your coffee maker.
Here's how it works: Grab the ear pad as if it were the last bun on the coffee table and twist it counter-clockwise. Click! The old pad comes off as if by itself – no brute force needed, just a touch of finesse and a dash of patience.
Then take a new, fresh ear pad, place it in position, and twist it clockwise. When you hear that familiar and reassuring click, you'll know the pad is right at home.
And there you have it – your headphones look and feel like new again!
If these instructions sound tricky on paper, don't worry. Below is a tutorial video where we show the whole process in practice.
