Nordell Micro didn’t win you over. That’s okay. A small speaker isn’t everyone’s thing, and sometimes expectations and reality just don’t match. A return is no problem — but before you pack it back into the box, let’s go through a couple of things. Maybe the situation is still salvageable.
Why does it sound the way it does?
Nordell Micro is a 200-gram, pocket-sized speaker with a single 40 mm driver and 8 watts of power. It’s designed to go with you, not to fill a living room. Jasse tuned it to emphasize clarity — speech, audiobooks, and podcasts sound good on it. You won’t get massive bass out of it, because physics is physics.
A few tips before returning, though:
- Put the speaker in a corner or next to a wall. Room acoustics work wonders. Placed in a corner, the bass is reinforced by the laws of nature.
- Try stereo pairing. If you happen to have two Micros, press the Play/Pause button on both and wait until you hear the "di-di" sound. Two Micros in stereo is a completely different experience than one in mono.
- Check the source. The Bluetooth codec is SBC, so the streaming service’s own quality matters. There’s a difference between Spotify Free and full quality.

How to return the product
The return is a straightforward process. You’ll need your order number — you’ll find it in the order confirmation email.
- Go to valco.fi and find the return form
- Fill in the form with your order number and choose the reason for the return
- Pack the speaker in the original packaging (or equivalent, as long as it’s protected)
- Send the package to the address provided in the form
The right of return under the Consumer Protection Act is 14 days from when you received the product. This is a hard deadline, so don’t let it sit for too long.
If something’s off
Form not working? Order number missing? Klarna payment stuck? Send an email to info@valco.fi and include your order number. We’ll take care of the rest.
If you paid with Klarna, the return will show up on Klarna’s side after we’ve received and processed it. This usually takes a few business days.

We’re not offended. Really. Nordell Micro is a small speaker at a small price, and it doesn’t try to be a home theater replacement. If you ever want headphones or a bigger speaker, you know where to find us. Every euro brings us 0.000001% closer to the Death Star — but that money will come from somewhere else too.
