Installments were invented so that not everyone has to give up the entire contents of their wallet at once. We understand this, because we also pay for the Death Star in installments.
You can buy VMK25 headphones with installments directly from the valco.fi online store. The process is straightforward, but a few points sometimes cause confusion. Let’s go through them.
How do installments work?
Installment options appear on the checkout page among the other payment methods. We use external installment services — for example, Elisa is a common choice.
In practice, it goes like this:
- Add VMK25 headphones to the cart in the valco.fi store
- Proceed to checkout
- Fill in the shipping and contact details as usual
- In the payment method menu, choose installments (e.g., Elisa or another service on offer)
- The service will redirect you to its own identification flow, where you accept the installment agreement
- Done — the headphones are on their way and you pay in installments
The installment service makes its own credit decision, so we don’t influence it. Valco receives the money from the service provider, and you pay your installments directly to them.
Why don’t installments show up or work?
A few common reasons why you might hit a wall at checkout:
- Your browser is blocking content. An ad blocker or strict cookie settings can hide payment options. Try another browser or temporarily disable the ad blocker.
- The installment service’s own terms. Elisa and other services have their own credit limits and identification requirements. If the service rejects the application, that’s their decision — we don’t see the reason and can’t influence it.
- The amount doesn’t meet the minimum threshold. Some installment services have a minimum purchase. Check the service’s own terms.
- VPN is on. A VPN may confuse location detection, in which case the service won’t offer Finnish payment methods.
What if I already ordered with Elisa installments and need warranty service?
Good news: the warranty works exactly the same as for those who paid cash. 24 months; devices are repaired in Kajaani. However, keep your Elisa installment receipt — it serves as proof of purchase. The order number and the receipt are sufficient when you contact the repair service.
If that doesn’t help
If the payment method simply refuses to work and you can’t figure out why, send us a message at info@valco.fi. Tell us what you tried, which browser you used, and what happened. We’ll sort it out.
Those headphones have to be paid for somehow — and we’ll help you find a way. Every installment payment takes us one step closer to that Ferrari.
